For over 50 years, the Collins family has been growing a variety of vegetable crops for the wholesale market, after the transition previously as a dairy farm in the 50’s. Pretty much from the beginning, wax and a romano type on as much as 1,100 acres of land producing as much as 5 million pounds of beans at its peak during season, making us the largest producer of beans in the New England region. Product is supplied to many wholesale outlets such as Fresh Point, J.M. Musto, Big Y, Whole Foods, Bozzutos and all your local IGA’s, and into both the Boston and New York terminal markets as well as many farms with farm markets. Having such pride in the quality and consistency of our products, it has allowed us to remain ahead much of the competition

Even though beans have always been a large part of who we are known for, we also produce many other crops that can also be found at the locations listed above. Sweet corn, yellow/green squash, cukes and pickles, both sweet and hot peppers, assorted tomato types, various winter squash and lastly, both sugar and face type pumpkins. Although many other crops are grown here at the farm, the others are not typically sold on the wholesale level, but could be if the occasion arises. To ensure the produce we produce is safe and of the highest quality, we are USDA Gap certified.
